The China Chronicles Day 7 & 8 - Guilin & YangShuo - Mobile Photo Edition

The next few days would be busy. I knew what i wanted to do but not to sure how to go about it.
All ideas had to wait till I booked my train ticket to Kunming. That will gauge how much time we had to explore. I travel on a tight schedule see as much as a i can and getting a sample of what the country has to offer.

View from the honeymoon suit @ How Hostel!

I tend to always carry water tablets. Who knows when you might use it.
I often use it at night when i dont have any drinkable water and have to drink tap water

I tend to not visit large cities and prefer to explore for more local and smaller cities where most tourists don't visit. I want to see a different side of China and not the usual Shanghai and Terracotta warrior and Great Wall of China. I know they are amazing and many people go for that reason.
But i want to do something different.

Only one night in our honey moon suite. Checking out to move on to Yangshuo.

I can relax now ticket is booked now the next step.

Guilin to Kunming Train Ticket.
Soft sleeper. You need to provide a passport when buying a train ticket.

Hostel booked and ready to role.

Last meal before the bus ride. Super hot beef dish. I think it was beef and chilliz
Bus ticket from Guilin to Yangshuo.

Arrived at Yangshuo. Again we got stuck with only one big bed @_@ Room was clean and nice. Accommodation was very remote. Maybe 20min walk from city. But it was nice and quiet

Wait for the bus

Arrived at Yangshuo. No idea how to go our accommodation

Qingming Festival or Grave Sweeping. All day we heard firecrackers exlpoding.

You want some Kangfu hair dryer?

View from our hostel.

Typical scenery in Guilin. Very mysterious

Stone Bridge in Yangshuo and HOW! Hostel in Guilin.

River cruise from Yangshuo to Xingping and beyond.
You couldn't take a boat from Yangshuo to Guilin due to some argument between the boat people.
So we went halfway by boat then the other half by illegal bus.
Which pretty much mean you flag down any bus and scream where u going and see if they nod their head. They take a cash payment for you to get on the bus and sit on the floor.

The journey continues:
